When you first start the My Moving Maps application it will locate your current position using GPS.
This may take up to a minute and can be helped if you are in an open area with
good mobile reception and your Wifi signal enabled.
Once your location has been determined it will be sent to our servers. Initially your iPhone is not linked to an email
address. In order to establish the link (so that friends can locate you online by searching on your email address) you must
click on the Link button at the bottom.
Click on the Link to Email button at the bottom of the screen to select your email address from your iPhone
address book. Linking the device to your email address allows people to search using that email address and locate you. For privacy reasons you
may wish to use an email address that only a few people know relates to you, that way only those that know the email relates to you will be able to locate you.
